Here is little bit about me. I have lived in a rural area in northeastern PA near Lake Wallenpaupack for the last 15 years. Fishing is my passion and I can be found on the big lake several times a week. When I don't have a fishing rod in hand, it's a golf club. I try to hit one of our lovely courses at least once a week, weather permiting.

I work out of my home providing Life, Health, LTC Insurance and Retirement Annuities among other services. I am an independent agent and am licensed with at least 20 insurance companies. This affords me the opportunity to seek out the best product based on my client's circumstance. I do not offer simply what is on the shelf so to speak.

I have been in this business all my working life. I started with Loeb Rhodes Inc, a brokerage firm, as a Margin clerk in 1968. Back then we hand posted clients security positions, fed index cards into a huge computer and got hard copy printouts the next morning. Times have changed. I took to the securities business right away. In the evenings I attended the NY Institute of Finance and Pace University. I decided from the get go that I wanted to become a Stock Broker. Unfortunately, on Wall Street back then it was a very private club and not having a wealthy background nor an ivy league education there was no way, at least not here. California here I come with my new bride, we just packed the old car and headed west.

After a few years of working for a Mutual Fund/NASD firm I found a company to sponsor me for a securities license. The problem was that unless you had clients no one wanted you and you can't get clients without being licensed.

We stayed in California for 7 years, had a son, Damian; and decided to head back east. I was a Stock Broker with a track record so finding a firm to join was not a concern. We moved to Middletown, NY and I got affiliated with EF Hutton. Working in the Wall Street NYC area I did have the 3 hour one way commute via the railroad and re-built my client base earning VP of sales. This is the time my daughter, Regina decided to join the family.

It's now 1985 some 10 years later and security commissions are being cut drastically by the new on the scene Discount Firms. I couldn't see charging commissions 5 to 10 times higher so I had to shift direction into the full Financial Planning arena. Best move I ever made. Instead of being on the phone with clients all day buying and selling I now meet face to face with every client and focus on far more than just daily market fluctuations. Delving into their full financial picture we address areas of Life Insurance, the making of the immediate estate, Long Term Care, potentially a hugh financial drain, Retirement planning investments, no room for market risk here and of course general Estate planning. Best of all I feel that I offer a personalized real service. With the vast array of companies I represent I can find the answer to any problem, regardless of the complexity.
